After a less than stellar series against the woeful Colorado Rockies, the mediocre Atlanta Braves host the hot Toronto Blue Jays.

The series starts off with Jays top ace Roy Halladay against Kenshin Kawakami, who is 2-5 with a plus-5 ERA. Kawakami is not the pitcher the Braves should have facing Halladay, who is seeking is ninth win of this young season.

A win of this series could boost the confidence of a Braves team that teeters on destruction. The inconsistency is so mind-boggling that you never really do know what team will show up once the game begins and the lights are on.

These teams faced off in Toronto last season. The Jays won two of the
three matchups. Toronto swept a three-game set from the Braves in Turner Field
during the 2006 season and is 12-3 over its last 15 overall meetings with
Atlanta, which does not bode well for Bobby Cox’s crew
