Mike Gonzalez gave up a double in the ninth, before a pop-up and then an exciting play by Martin Prado to end the game. The Braves return to .500 for the year, keeping pace with the Phillies and Mets.
Matt Diaz hit a double in the eighth and he scored on Yunel Escobar’s ground out and a pop-fly from Casey Kotchman.
Game two is tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
