Atlanta Braves Need Big Bat and Outfield Help

There is only one free agent that would be worth the money to get and that is Matt Holliday, but the Atlanta Braves aren’t likely to be his suitor. His agent, Scott Boras, is the Braves Public Enemy No. 1.

The need for a big bat will become even more of a pressure if Adam LaRoche has to leave town for the second time in his Braves career. He turned into one of the Braves best hitters down the stretch.

Carl Crawford, Johnny Damon, Jason Bay are other options but there are strings attached to them.

Without a big bat, the Braves will have a hard time capturing a playoff berth.
