Note To Bobby Cox: Get Rid Of Jo-Jo Reyes

The Atlanta Braves are losing 14-0 to the San Diego Padres and the game isn’t even halfway done. We can’t place all the blame on Bobby Cox and his insistence that Jo Jo Reyes stay in the game to pitch after already giving up four hits, three for extra bases and two of the homers. I’m not kidding either.

Jair Jurrjens had a bad day, there is no doubting that. But why Reyes is even on a MLB roster, let alone the Braves, is mind-boggling. And that might be understating the whole thing.

This is not one of those games you TIVO. Instead it is one you forget as quickly as possible. I am trying to find a way to get outside right now, instead of watching anymore of this hell that is right now Atlanta Braves baseball.

Jason Heyward sure can hit. But his defense is questionable after poor throws to home for his second game straight. How can a kid that big, with pipes like that, not throw the ball fast and accurately? You cannot be the best if you are not the best at everything you do on the field. He’s batting well, but his defense is causing problems.

If Jo Jo Reyes comes back for another inning I literally might explode on here.
