Braves sign Iosif Bernal

On the international signings began the Braves signed 16 year old Panamanian

outfield prospect Iosif Bernal. Scouting reports say Bernal is a 6’3” 180lb (though he’s also been listed at 190 and 200 so apparently no one calibrates their scales anymore) outfielder with very good arm strength and fluid athletic movement. He turns 17 this October so obviously he’s a raw talent they have to develop ala Randall Delgado, Christian Bethancourt and Dimaster Delgado. Bernal’s projected as a middle of the order power bat with plus speed.
