‘Take Classic Video of the Day: Chipper Jones once shilled for Wendy’s Hamburgers

I had once thought that Wendy’s Hamburgers were only an Ohio thing. The fast food Hamburger chain was started in Dublin, Ohio. It’s about 15 minutes from my house. This disproves my theory on Wendy’s, although the 1998 commercial has Chipper Jones in a very generic uniform and we doubt strongly that he ever met with the founder of Wendy’s, Ohio’s own Dave Thomas to film this 30 seconds of product placement.

By the way, if you’re a Wendy’s fan I hear they have a new Hamburger that is to die for. I’m not a fast food guy myself, but I’m excited to see how even in death, good ol’ Dave Thomas could re-invent the wheel that has been turning since 1969.

I wonder also why they had Chipper Jones hitting from the right side?
