‘Take Classic Video of the Day: Thanksgiving 1994 John Tyler v. Plano East

It’s basically Thanksgiving, so it’s time to post one of my favorite sports highlights of all time. It’s not baseball–but it’s just worth seeing. This is the 1994 Plano East-John Tyler high school football game. Plano East trailed in this game 41-13 with just under three minutes to go. Then they came storming back only to have an abrupt and painful ending crush their dreams.

You know, there’s a little Plano East in all of us. Every day we battle to reach heights that almost seem the impossible. And in the end, sometimes we fail in dramatic fashion. Isn’t that life?
