Braves Trivia #2

Mandatory Credit: Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE

Today’s trivia question is Braves-only.  Also, I will try to keep the amount of answers smaller in the future.

Who are the six Braves pitchers to strike out at least 200 hitters in a season since the franchise moved to Milwaukee (1953)?

As always, leave your guesses in the comments section.  I only guessed three of the correct answers on my own.

I wish I was older so I could at least have a chance at some of these. Haha I have no clue.

@CarlosCollazo Four of them did it in seasons during your lifetime.

Well Vasquez did it the year before we traded him, Smoltz, Neikro (because he’s the answer to 75% of Braves pitching questions). . . everything else would be a guess wilder than knucksie

Here are the answers:  Smoltz (5 times), Niekro (3 times), Vazquez (2009), Millwood (1999), Maddux (1998), and Tony Cloninger (1965).  Cloninger is most known as the first player (and only pitcher) to hit 2 grand slams in the same game.
