Last Article You’ll Read On Chipper To Yanks

Stop reading everything you see on Chipper Jones to the New York Yankees, it is ALL false even if it’s “he’s thinking about it”!!

Rumors flew around social media and sites everywhere this afternoon about the Yankees GM Brian Cashman wanting Chipper to play for the Yankees because of all the injures so far this spring for the Yanks.  Jones quickly shot down the rumors with the tweet below.

Enough with the rumors! While I am flattered about the speculation of being enticed out of retirement, I’m happy with life as a bad golfer!

Now if your someone who almost lost their lunch this afternoon with this news, please continue to breath.  He later sent a message to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution “I’m flattered, but no, my knees can no longer take playing baseball at its highest level.  Plus I can’t imagine donning any uniform other than a Braves uni!

So there you go, plus we already know Chipper is coming back to the Braves in August…ha wishful thinking
