Game 1: Braves at Diamondbacks

Justin Upton will travel west to Chase Field for the first time returning since the January trade to Atlanta. Likewise, Martin Prado will be facing his former team when the games first pitch gets thrown out at 9:40pm ET. The Braves send out (4-2) Mike Minor to the mound as the Diamondbacks place (3-1) Wade Miley on the hill.

Minor pitched well in his last outing going seven innings against a really good Cincinnati Reds team. He only allowed one run off four hits and added seven strikeouts. Mike has really thrown the ball well in 2013 except for one game against the Tigers. I’m excited to see this young pitcher grow into something special and tonight he’ll pitch up his fifth win!!
