The New York Mets travel into the ATL where the Braves are a MLB best 23-8 at their home field. While the Mets are one of the worst traveling teams in the league with a record of 11-16 on the road (only worse teams are Miami Marlins and LA Dodgers).
Atlanta will send to the mound Tim Hudson. Huddy is 3-0 with a 2.39 ERA in his six home game starts this season. Though he hasn’t picked up a win in his last three start (0-2), he has pitched very well with a 1.66 ERA and .160 opponents batting average.
New York Mets starter Dillon Gee is 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA in his last three starts in 2013.
