Sean Gilmartin goes on DL

Per David O’Brien on Twitter, Braves pitching prospect Sean Gilmartin has been placed on Triple-A Gwinnett’s disabled list due to shoulder tendinitis.  Gilmartin was a 2011 1st round pick, but has struggled in 2013 with a 5.83 ERA, and a 47/30 K/BB ratio.  He is currently listed by the Gwinnett Braves as being on the 7 day DL.

If you didn’t already know it, former Brave (and always a Brave in our hearts), Chipper Jones is selling one of his homes.  The 23,000-square-foot home on Heatherwood Court in the gated community of Glenayre in Roswell is on the block for $3.195 million.  If I have a free Sunday, I might go on over and do a walk-thru.  Lord knows I can easily afford that! I joke, but it would be interesting, almost like a museum walk-thru, to get an invite to an open house and see where the legend buttered his toast. 🙂
