Atlanta Braves catcher, outfielder, first baseman Evan Gattis will display his talents on the field in a different way in a few weeks – this time by hosting a baseball camp for ball players from the age 6-15.  On November 9th, Gattis will partake in a four hour individual training for youth in Atlanta, Georgia.  Tickets are on sale now and can be bought for $95.

The baseball camp will be held at Ocee Park in Johns Creek, Georgia.  Georgia University’s shortstop Kyle Farmer will also be at the training session with Gattis.

Gattis was a household name by the end of the 2013 season as he exploded on the scene for the Braves.  The 26-year-old finished the season with a slash line of .243/.291/.771 with 21 home runs and 65 RBIs.

With the decision of weather or not Brian McCann will return to Atlanta still looming in the air, Gattis could be the every day catcher for the Atlanta Braves in 2014.
