BCS National Championship Just Got Interesting For The Atlanta Braves

This year’s college football national championship is setting up to be an offensive battle between the #2 Auburn Tigers and the #1 Florida State Seminoles.

The 2014 Vizio BCS National Championship Game is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2014 with kicking off at 8:30 p.m. ET.  The game will be played at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

Florida State Seminoles, looking for their third national title, are led by Heisman Trophy winner, redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston, who will be just 20 years old on game day.

Auburn displayed the biggest turnaround this season, from a 2012 record of 3-9 to a 2013 12-1 record.  The Tigers lead the nation in rushing (335.69 yards per game) with four different players with 100 or more yards.  Running back Tre Mason, SEC Offensive Player of the Year and a Heisman finalist, lead the team in rushing yards (124.69 yards per game) and touchdowns (22) scored.

This is a game where betters all around the nation strive for and the Vegas gamblers thirst for.  You’re in the minority if you don’t have something riding on this game.  And now, right before our eyes on Thursday evening, we saw a bet grow from the ashes between two Atlanta Braves players.

There you have it Braves fans!  Got to love these two guys…can’t wait till this game and we see whom takes over who’s avatar.

      I’m going 44-41 Auburn.

But my team (UCF) already jumped up and surprised everyone (me included) by thumping Baylor in the Fiesta!
