2014 Atlanta Braves’ Caravan!

The 2014 Atlanta Braves’ Caravan kicks off this season on January 21st, and runs through February 1st.  Sponsored by Academy Sports and Outdoors, the 2014 Braves’ Caravan will travel more than 3,000 miles meeting fans, signing autographs, and holding other special events.  In addition to the dates and locations in the table below, the Braves will also be stopping in hospitals, schools, military bases, etc.

I’ve attended several of these events over the years here in my hometown of Birmingham, and I can tell you they are a thrill.  You’ll get a chance to meet some of the Braves’ players, and perhaps get a signed autograph, and enjoy meeting them.  Check out the listing of appearances below.  Perhaps the Braves will be coming to your town, or a town close by.  If so, don’t miss out on the 2014 Atlanta Braves’ Caravan.

I’m always excited when the Caravan kicks off, because it signals a kind of count-down to me.  Once the caravan trip is over, we know the Braves will be headed down to Orlando, FL to start spring training, and then we know the season is just right around the corner!  My how time flies!

Visit the Braves’ Website and read up on the Autograph FAQ, and learn how you can share some of your own past Caravan Memories!

Finally! In my neck of the woods! They do show that stop as 4-5:30 EST, though Alabama is a CST state, so there’s likely a slight change due. Nonetheless, it’s the first time in several years, and is definitely welcomed.

You know, I guess I wasn’t thorough in my post because I didn’t even notice that. I scanned only for Birmingham (selfish), and it looked like normal. Whoever put that sked together certainly missed on some time zone issues, and not just your Alan. I should’ve noticed, and mentioned that, but I figure people can read it and put two and two together and adjust accordingly. Shame on them for not eve knowing time zones! :)

Hmm, coming down to Hiram. That’s only about 20-30 minutes away. Or I could just wait until they finally put the Braves Clubhouse store in Emerson in a few years…

Definitely going to try to make the hour and a half drive to Macon.
