Florida State Takes Home The Trophy And A Atlanta Braves Player's Avatar Is Changed

The Wikipedia definition of Sports Betting is the following….Sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome. It is generally considered to be a form of gambling.

The BCS National Championship is one game that many, many people have something riding on.  In this case, it all started in front of our eyes between Atlanta Braves’ Chris Johnson and Freddie Freeman on Twitter.  The bet was, whosever team won the championship would get to change the others avatar.  An avatar on Twitter is the photo of yourself when you tweet or when someone looks you up.  Read the conversation below prior to the game and then we take a look at the January 6th matchup.

It’s all fun and games until an avatar is involved – then it gets serious!

The game was quite the nail biter as Auburn had a 21-3 lead but Florida State wouldn’t go out quietly.  The 4th quarter of the National Championship was one of the best quarters in college football.  The excitement of the back and forth, both teams giving all they had, was like nothing else.  Yes, it was a late night watching this but we’ll deal with that later.

Here is the interaction on Monday night…

Chris Johnson and his Florida State Seminoles take the victory 34-31.  We’ll keep an eye out for Freddie’s “avi” to change again in the next two weeks.

PS: 34 Days Until Pitchers And Catchers!!!
