If you’ve lived in a cave for the past two weeks or just aren’t a football fan (pitchers and catchers report in less then two weeks) the teams playing tonight are the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.
The story lines that usually come out of the two weeks leading up to the SB is about the two teams quarterbacks. This game is about Peyton Manning against the Seattle defense.
Seattle has been largely defined by players the news media that have seemed to talk too much or not enough if you’re a fan…aka Richard Sherman. And for the guy fans throw Skittles at when he scores a touchdown, Marshawn Lynch, for not talking enough to the media.
For Denver, the discussions have centered around a win or a loss would mean for the legacy of Peyton Manning.
Since we are days away from the beginning of the 2014 spring training and players starting to report to camp, let’s take today to watch the last game of the NFL season and enjoy the matchup and the commercials.
PS: Last night a tweet from Chris Johnson said he will be tweeting during the game tonight so if you’d like to talk football (respectfully) check him out at @C_Johnson28
