Atlanta Braves Freddie Freeman Speaks On New Contract

If you’ve been locked inside your basement with no television or internet OR you’ve just had the craziest week of work, THEN you’ve heard all about the Atlanta Braves signing Freddie Freeman to an 8 year deal worth $135 million dollars.

Obviously for great reasons, fans have been ecstatic about this news and having a lock for so many years in the middle of our lineup at to play first base.

Freddie shared his special day with his fiancée, Chelsea Goff, and his father….thanks to Chelsea for posting a photo.

On January 19th of this year, Freeman popped the question to Goff and from his press conference Wednesday afternoon he has already learned that a wedding isn’t cheap.

“The first thing I’ve got to do is pay for a wedding,” he said.  Supposedly they’ve already set a date for November 22nd 2014 for the ceremony.

Freddie Free went on during the news conference about how humbled he was to receive this contract at such a young age and how “happy” he is.
