Freddie Freeman has been battling a ‘dry eye’ condition the past few days.  It has evidently been affecting his hitting as the normally rock-solidly-consistent Freeman is now 0-for-his-last three games and 1-for-19 in his last 4 games dating back to the end of the Mets series.  His strikeouts are way up, too:  5 of those in the past two games… although there was this Jose Fernandez kid involved in part of that.

But help appears to be on the way:

That’s great to hear:  hopefully these steroid drops will serve to be the ‘performance enhancement‘ that Braves’ fans are looking for to get Freddie back in the groove… starting tonight against Cincinnati.

Game time is 7:35 tonight.
