The Atlanta Braves took an early lead in the Tuesday night game against the St. Louis Cardinals by an blast by Justin Upton that was recorded at 457 feet (recorded by ESPN Home Run Tracker).  This was the 9th longest homer in the MLB this season but when it shot off the bat we all knew it was gone.

The bigger question is how far did fans jump off their couches when Justin hit that ball?  I know I got pretty high and the dog wouldn’t stop barking with my obnoxious clapping.

On a 0-1 pitch and one out in the bottom of the 4th inning, Upton took Tyler Lyons deep to make the game 1-0 Braves.

The homer was the first hit for the Braves who are trying to impress
