Fredi Gonzalez is an All-Star

The 85th MLB All-Star game will be held at Target Field in Minneapolis on July 15th… and though voting is still on-going, the Braves have already had one of their own named to the team:

Yes:  it’s manager Fredi Gonzalez.  Since joining the club after the 2010 season, the Braves have finished 2nd, 2nd, and 1st in the NL’s Eastern division, missing the playoffs just once (2011, by one game).  Braves’ teams are 313-236 (.570 winning percentage) with Fredi at the helm.

Congratulations to Fredi on this honor… and now let’s get to work helping to vote his players to the event as well!  They need your help!!  That ballot can be found on-line at this linkand you can vote up to 35 times, so get busy!
