A Premonition For One Of The Newest Members Of The Atlanta Braves

With the 32nd pick of the 2014 MLB draft, the Atlanta Braves select TC Roberson High School outfielder Braxton Davidson.

The now 18-year-old (his birthday was June 18…was 17 when drafted) is listed as a 6’3″ 205 pound outfielder or first base and was considered one of the top power-hitting prospects in the draft.

Davidson had signed with North Carolina when still in school but he said after being drafted by the Braves he wanted to begin his professional career immediately.

So that is what he did…Braxton signed with the Atlanta Braves a few days later and the same day he took batting practice with the Braves at Turner Field.

Braxton reported to Disney at the Spring Training facilities in Florida on June 21st to begin practicing and looks to get on the field shortly for the Braves.

He was drafted, signed, reported, now it’s time to play!

But prior to all that and the success in high school, Braxton wore the hat of the Atlanta Braves when he was still a little boy.  Could this had been an omen of things to come?  One could only imagine.
