He knew it was coming.  He even figured out how to deal with it.  Nonetheless both sides performed their scripts to perfection last night as Tommy La Stella drove a Stephen Strasburg fastball over the right-center field wall for his first major league homer during the 5th inning of Friday night’s win for the Atlanta Braves over the Washington Nationals.

Then came the big league treatment for the rookie.  Let’s watch:

Yep, not much is gonna rattle a kid from upstate Jersey.  Congratulations, Tommy – and that homer effectively won the game Friday night!
