Atlanta Braves 30 Year Anniversary Of This Brawl

It’s been 30 years to the day, August 12th 1984, when the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres got into this skirmish.  If you’re a historian of the MLB or remember this brawl like it was yesterday, you’ll recall Champ Summers, Claudell Washington, Pascual Perez, fans, and so many, many more.

An insane part of this fight was when a fan jumped on top of the dugout and hits Summers over the head with a beer.

Though no punches seemed to have landed, this is still considered a great battle between the two teams.
