Shae Simmons

Ian Thomas – He had a brief stint with the Braves earlier in 2014 but was sent down to Gwinnett.  The 6’4″ lefty has a 4.30 ERA in 23 innings pitched.  He’s given up seven runs and eight walks  with 27 strikeouts.  My Prediction – Possibly but the Braves have better options.

Shae Simmons – Simmons pitched great for the Braves when he was initially called up but then struggled.  It was revealed later that he had some shoulder soreness but didn’t tell anyone.  Since being cleared, he’s thrown two bullpens.  Though the Braves need bullpen help, I don’t think the Braves will push him in his recovery.  My Prediction – Not ready to return yet
