Outside the Braves organization… Oliver Perez – The Braves could have possibly traded for Oliver Perez, the Arizona D-Backs lefty.  He has mentioned he doesn’t want to leave Arizona but sometimes players don’t get to make that decision.  My Prediction – No, I don’t see the Braves making this move.

Matt Thornton – Atlanta could have signed Thornton for pretty much nothing but he’s a National whose claim would have been after ours.  My Prediction – No I don’t see the Braves going outside of their organization for this roster move.  I think we would of heard more from around the league if a move was happening.
