Atlanta Braves Freddie Freeman Celebrates Early
By Jeff Schafer
Atlanta Braves 8 year $135 MM dollar first baseman, Freddie Freeman, is taking one step closer to 30. Frederick Charles Freeman turns 25-years-old on Friday, September 12.
Freddie is having another great year for the Atlanta Braves with a slash line of .292/.388/.475 for the 2014 season with 18 home runs and 72 RBIs. He was selected to his second All-Star game as well this season.
Since joining the Braves in 2010, Freeman has carried himself as a fan favorite. Since Chipper Jones retired and Tim Hudson and Brian McCann left Atlanta, Freddie has turned into the Braves leader/captain on and off the field.
Freeman is currently engaged to Chelsea Marie Goff and will be getting married later this year. He has been close friends with Jason Heyward throughout his minor league and professional career.
Jason, Freddie and other close friends Justin Upton and Craig Kimbrel went out Wednesday night to celebrate Mr. Freeman’s birthday. Thanks to Chelsea tweeting a photo of the night, we got an inside look at how the night went.
Happy Birthday Freddie!!!
