Atlanta Braves Braxton Davidson Meets His Idol
By Jeff Schafer
Atlanta Braves 2014 first round selection, Braxton Davidson, shared with us on social media that he got to meet one of his idols on Monday. Davidson was the 32nd pick in the 2014 MLB June Amateur Draft from T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, North Carolina.
The 18-year-old played for two different Braves clubs in his first professional season as he was a member of the Gulf Coast Braves and the Danville Braves….both rookie ball teams.
The Braves organization sees high potential in this 6’2″ 210 lb. outfielder but we will have to wait for him to develop.
Braxton’s idol comes at little surprise as many look up to Ken Griffey Jr. Especially since Davidson is a lefty that plays the outfield…he probably mirrored his game after Jr’s.
