The Atlanta Braves took the win on Saturday night 4-2 as they improved to 78-83.  We haven’t seen many non-important games in recent years for the Braves but as the MLB is wrapping up the 2014 season, the Braves are playing for pride.

Aaron Harang pitched another great game for the Braves going six and 2/3 innings while only giving up two runs off eight hits and five strikeouts.  He picked up win number 12 for the season.

Chasen Shreve and Dan Carpenter closed out the seventh and eighth inning for the Braves.  Then, it was Craig Kimbrel‘s time.

Kimbrel came in to close out the ninth inning and was welcomed by a group of impersonators doing the “Kimbreling”.

Craig shut down the Phillies and picked up his 46 save of the season.  He holds a 1.63 ERA with a 0.91 WHIP.  He’s appeared in 62 games this season picking up 92 strikeouts.  Kimbrel now has 185 saves for his career.

Mark Bowman asked Craig after the game what he thought about the fans doing the “Kimbreling”…
