Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note:  The Kansas City Royals forced a game 7 on Tuesday with a 10-0 win over the San Francisco Giants.  Game 7’s are not always present in the playoffs but when they come around, you better be watching.  Wednesday night is the final game of the 2014 season…all the hits, homers, perfect innings, great plays, wins, losses, everything…it all ends tonight for the MLB season.

"Who knows what’s on deck Wednesday night when Giants visit the Royals in the 37th winner-take-all game in Series history?“A Game 7 in the World Series is a gift for everyone,” Giants outfielder Hunter Pence said. “It’s pretty special. Seitzer’s playing days show he can succeed as Braves hitting coach

Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note:  When Kevin Seitzer played in the MLB, he was known to smash the baseball while at the plate.  But more importantly, Paul Byrd explains in his article, he knew why and how he did it.  Seitzer played 12 years in the majors but wasn’t a Hall of Fame caliber hitter.  After retiring from his playing days, he decided to become a hitting coach.  Now getting ready to wear the Braves uniform, Seitzer has many issues to fix.

"What he got out of an average-looking physical frame was one of the better hitters in the game for about a 10-year stretch. Not a Hall of Fame career, but a feared and respected hitter, mostly for his ability to drive the ball to all fields, hit for a high average and walk more than he struck out. After retiring in 1997 the former Royal started the Mac-N-Seitz Baseball and Softball facility in Kansas City, and I’m told many visiting big-league players would sneak away in the mornings before their afternoon game at Kauffman Stadium for a private lesson with Seitz."

San Francisco Giants’ Tim Hudson says he’s ready for Game 7 start

Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note:  Former Atlanta Braves starting pitcher, Tim Hudson, will supposedly get the ball for tonight’s game 7 matchup against the Kansas City Royals.  This is a huge start for Tim as he’s looking for his first World Series ring.  At 39-years-old, he has never pitched in a World Series in his 16-year career before this season, now he will pitch in the ultimate assignment…game 7 of the World Series.

"Tim Hudson said Tuesday night that he has been preparing the past four days as if Game 7 would be a certainty, and now it is.“After my last start, my mindset was, ‘OK, get ready for Game 7, even if there’s not,’ ” Hudson said. “Mentally and physically, I wanted to be ready to go just like I always am.”“This is why you play the game,” he said. “This is why you compete. This is why you work so hard throughout your career, to get this opportunity. I’m going to have some fun. I’ve waited a long time for this. I feel very calm about the task at hand, but I know it’s going to be challenging.”"
