The Braves Have A New Partner

Moves, after moves, after moves – the Atlanta Braves, John Hart and the entire front offices have been extremely busy this 2014-2015 offseason.  This has been well documented by many…but this time, it’s something to be excited about.

On Monday night during the Hot Stove Gathering that’s put on by the Rome Braves, it was announced that they have signed a multi year deal with radio broadcast partner 99.5 The Jock.

In attendance for this presser at the Forum was Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez, Brian Bridges – Atlanta Braves Scouting Director, Billy Nicholson – Gwinnett Braves Coach, Jonathan Schuerholz – Atlanta Braves Assistant Director of Player Development, and Brian Snitker – Gwinnett Braves Manager and Braves great Terry Pendelton.  The 2015 Rome Braves will open the season at home on April 9 against the Asheville Tourists.

This annual Hot Stove Gathering is in its 15th year and the money raised benefits local charities.  Tickets were sold at $15 ($20 at the door) and you received dinner, a Q&A session, and a break out autographs session.

With all the negativity coming from Braves camp fans, it’s good to hear some good news that a radio broadcast will be an official partner of the Rome Braves.
