facebooktwitterreddit

Team team at Atlantis Casino in Reno, Nevada posted their Over/Under projections last Friday afternoon with the Washington Nationals and the Los Angles Dodgers with the high projected win totals.  Your Atlanta Braves, well they were in the bottom five.

The Nationals had a over/under win total of 93 wins while the Dodgers had a projected win total of 91.  The Cardinals, Pirates and Giants totaled out the top five in the National League.  In the American League, the Angels were on top with an 87.5 projected win total.  The Tigers, Red Sox, Mariners and Orioles were in the top five in the AL.

We’ve covered the top teams, now how about the bottom of the barrel…

Phillies had the lowest over/under predictions with 67 wins, followed by the Twins, Rockies, D’Backs and then the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta came in with a 73.5 projected total for the 2015 season…that’s below the Astros, Rangers, Rays, Cubs (who actually have a 81.5 win total)

Since 1990, the Braves have only had under 73.5 wins twice – in 2008 when they had 72 wins and in 1994 during the strike shortened year with 68 wins.

This offseason, Tomahawk Take and every Braves website have talked about the players John Hart and the rest of the front office traded away…now lets take a look at the new players that could fill out the 2015 Braves roster positions.

A team at 120 Sports talk about this discussion and whether the Braves will eclipse the 73.5 predicted win total for the 2015 season.

I’m going to go ahead and say that I agree with the fellas at 120 Sports and the Braves will win over 73.5 games and could possible make a playoff run.
