Since

Tim Hudsonsigned else where, a major topic on Braves’ fans minds have been “who’s the Braves leader”. This position was filled last year with
Jason Heywardbeing the local leader and Freddie Freeman leading by example.
Well…Heyward, Evan Gattis and Justin Upton are all gone…this leaves Freeman as OUR leader.
The 25-year-old is entering his fifth full season in the MLB. He already has two All-Star appearances and is ranked as one of the best first basemen in the league. In 2014, he batted .288/.386/.461 with 18 home runs, 78 RBIs, and 93 runs. After trading away most of Freeman’s protection in the lineup, the Braves sign Nick Markakis and Jonny Gomes to help Freddie see more good pitches. The Braves 2015 season will highly depend on the success of Mr. Freddie Freeman.
With these extra added responsibilities, don’t expect Freeman to change his ways of doing things….he’s not Roger Dorn.
Dorn’s entrance to camp in the movie Major League was obnoxious…we shouldn’t expect Freeman to do as such. But, he did come to the 2015 Braves camp with something new. The Braves tweeted out on Tuesday night what Freddie is riding around in so far this year.
Freeman is cruising around in style!
