The Atlanta Braves had their first Spring Training game of the 2015 season on Wednesday afternoon and got defeated by the New York Mets 8-2.

Spring Training games and scores usually do not matter to most…it’s really about how well the players perform, getting everyone in playing shape and avoiding injuries.

Freddie Freeman looked to be in midseason form as he singled in his first at-bat of the season…he later walked in his second and final at-bat.

No positional players played the entire game for the Braves as Manager Fredi Gonzalez has a lot of evaluating to do over the course of the next month.
