The Atlanta Braves 2015 Over/Under Game

We all have our questions, we all have our doubt, we all are skeptical about this upcoming season – that’s all right, it’s fair to be.  But the Atlanta Braves players aren’t listening to our doubt.

Jonny Gomes has already told the media he is here to win and not be a mediocre team.

“I don’t think I could look at Bobby Cox walking around and be like ‘Hey Bobby, we’re trying to go .500,” Gomes said when he arrived at the Braves spring training.  “We’re here to win, we’re here to win it all.  That’s where I’m at.”

Yes, saying things and preforming on the field are two things on completely different sides of the spectrum but why can’t we believe him?

Yes, the lineup isn’t as appealing as it was at the start of the 2014 season but baseball games aren’t won on paper.

After John Hart and the rest of the Braves front office traded away stars Jason Heyward, Justin Upton and Evan Gattis, one can only think offensive production would decline.  What if it doesn’t though?  What if the Braves offense plays better as a team and more small ball.  Getting on base, moving runners, stealing bases, sac flies, driving in the needed runs…the players on this 2015 team looks like they can do that and be successful.

The Braves finished last year with a 79-83 record, coming in second in the NL East behind the Washington Nationals.  The Nationals have only improved this offseason and will be tough to compete with.  The Miami Marlins continue to get better and will be a tough win this year.  The New York Mets and the Philadelphia Philies…well, we should be able to beat them…hopefully.

Below are 15 over or under questions on the Braves 2015 season…lets see the poll results!!
