Spring Training Week 2 – Roster Trends

Last week’s list was made far too quickly… and admittedly so.  This one is slightly less presumptuous, but at least we’ve got a turn through the “rotation” and some actually Spring Baseball games under our belts.

So far, we know a few things:

• Freddie Freeman can hit anything falling out of bed in the mornings.
• Pitching is spotty
• Sometimes fielding can be, too.
• This team just might really have trouble scoring runs… as expected.
• Nothing is much stranger than a 9-pitcher, 10-inning tie game – with a no-hitter involved.

Ah, Springtime in Florida.  Let’s  go now and check the pulse of the roster races.
