It might be just a bit premature, but we’re on the home stretch, folks.  There are just 11 days separating us from Opening Day in Miami.  With under two weeks to go, you’d think the Braves would pretty much have their roster already taken it’s shape.  And most years, you’d be right.  But with this overwhelming influx of new talent and veteran players, the roster battles are more tense and greater in number than ever.

But obviously we know this.  Fans here at Tomahawk Take, or anyone on Twitter for that matter, is carefully tuned in, and is watching every step players not named Freeman, Kimbrel, Simmons, Teheran, or Wood are making, and analyzing every number that they can find.

As always, I’ve tried to carefully toe the thin line between reason and my personal preferences in this piece.  Roster building with this many part time players and limited 40 man flexibility is tough enough for me, so I can’t imagine what it must be like for Braves management this year.
