Atlanta Braves Morning Chop & Box and Some History Lessons

Two things were carrying the team through it’s first week successes:  pitching and the hitting from its third basemen.  Both have cooled considerably over the last week-ish, and that’s why Atlanta is having trouble mustering a consistent attack… well, that and the occasional spectacular play (which I probably can’t complain about since Andrelton Simmons is still on our side).

Nonetheless:  it’s another L but there’s a quick turn-around today with a mid-day getaway game… so here’s the box score to peruse before that one gets underway.
