Atlanta Braves’ Nick Swisher Selling His Scottsdale Home for $2.05M

Atlanta Braves’ outfielder Nick Swisher has offered his Scottsdale home on the market.

Swisher, who formerly played for the Cleveland Indians, is selling his Arizona condo unit for $2.05 million, Realtor.com reported.

The listing on Realtor.com describes the dwelling place as “custom and unique property” that “has been upgraded extensively.” The 4,122-square-foot abode features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with each expansive bedroom reportedly equipped with its private bath and a walk-in closet. Other living areas displayed in the property include a residential office that doubles as a den, a media room and a spacious laundry room equipped with lots of storage areas.

The penthouse unit is also highlighted with notable interior features based on the images on its listing. Remarkable details shown are recessed lighting, wide and tall windows that give a more airy ambiance as well as great light and dark color contrast in the decorations. The unit also boasts spectacular mountain views from the inside.

Other high-tech amenities to enjoy are a sound system, electric windows as well as audio-visual and lighting systems. There’s an elevator that has an access to a secured foyer for the specific unit.

[ Ed. note: not a bad hangout for Spring training… or for the off-season, for that matter.  Does this mean that Swisher is moving to Atlanta?  That’s unknown at present.  The Braves have Swisher under contract for the duration of the 2016 season… but certainly, most players for the Braves have probably already figured out that their living arrangements should be made on a ‘month-to-month’ basis after last year’s overhaul.

The listing can be viewed here along with 20 photos.

Swisher is nearly 35, but probably still has a couple years of baseball left in him.  He is originally from Columbus, Ohio – though lived in West Virginia for a time.  He attended Ohio State prior to being drafted by Oakland in 2002 (1st round). ]
