We’ve now covered April and May in our 2016 Atlanta Braves predictions.  Next up, June.

As the Braves hit the summer months, they also hit the busy time for playing at home. Yes, it is another month when the Braves will be playing twenty-eight days.

There is some relief however, as the Braves have seventeen games at home, with only eleven on the road.

The month of June starts off with the finish of the series versus the Giants with the remaining two games at home. Braves will take one game, so they will start the month out 1-1.

Now this might seem a little insane. The Braves start a short west coast swing, as they fly out immediately after the final Giants game, they might want to consider sharing the Giants plane, to Los Angeles. Here, they will take on the Dodgers for a three game series starting the next day. Jet lag will have a huge factor and the Braves will be swept. For the month, 1-4.

Next, the Braves travel down to San Diego for a three game series against the Padres. By now, the Braves will be adjusted to the time difference and will take two of three from the Padres, making them 3-5 for the month.

Finally, an off day so the Braves can fly home.

They return to Turner Field, where they Chicago Cubs will be waiting. However, flying back across country the off day does not help that much and the Braves lose two of the three game series, now 4-7 for the month.

The Reds come to town for a four game series, where the Braves will take three of the four and get close to .500 for the month, sitting at 7-8.

Next up, the Mets in New York for a three game series, where the Mets take two of the three. For the month, 8-10.

What a stretch, but the Braves get an off day to travel to Florida to face the Marlins for two games, where the Braves will get the sweep, .500 now for the month.

The Braves close the month with eight games at home. First, four against the Mets, three against the Cleveland Indians and one against the Marlins.

The Braves will take five at home and end the month at 15-13.

Back-to-back 15-13 months for the Braves.
