Very Popular Atlanta Braves Names To Appear At Saturday’s FanFest

The Atlanta Braves will head into the 2016 season with a seesaw of emotions – the last season playing at Turner Field, the excitement of playing at a new ball park, most likely not the best season and many young promising prospects on their way.
For the past few years, the Braves have sent their players, coaches and former players on a roundabout journey called the Braves Caravan. This year, the Braves are doing something different….one day, all appearances and completely free.
Atlanta will host FanFest at Turner Field at 10am through 4pm on Saturday, January 30th…yes, this Saturday, make your plans! Autograph sessions, photo stations, tours, merchandise sales and a winter clothing drive. As Alan wrote about earlier this week, the Braves will host a clothing drive to help benefit the Atlanta Mission. Fans are asked to donate coats, boots, gloves, long pants, sweaters, hats, etc.

If you’re free Saturday or don’t have concrete plans, I’d definitely try to attend this event. It’s a great chance to get an autograph from your favorite Braves player, coach, former player or young prospect. Get the chance to meet and talk with a youngster so when they get to the bigs you can say “hey, I met and got an autograph from xyz.”
