There are goals that the Braves starting players – based on projected opening day lineup – should at least try to reach by the end of this season.

The Atlanta Braves 2017 season has officially begun now that spring training is starting down in Orlando. The 2016 season felt so long ago but the boys are back and ready to play. Just the thought that the Braves are back has probably warmed up so many hearts.

Each player has their own personal goal that they want to reach each year but many times it’s just to do what they can to help the team. The Braves players are no different. Many see the Opening Day lineup to be:

  1. Ender Inciarte
  2. Dansby Swanson
  3. Freddie Freeman
  4. Matt Kemp
  5. Nick Markakis
  6. Brandon Phillips
  7. Tyler Flowers
  8. Adonis Garcia
  9. Julio Teheran

That’s not a bad lineup; definitely looks better than the last couple seasons. Here’s what each player should at least aim for this season.
