MLB The Show 17 Came Out, So Of Course I Simulated The 2017 Season

Like so many others, I ran out yesterday after work to purchase the brand new MLB The Show by Sony Interactive Entertainment.  I hadn’t preordered the game (I should have), I enjoying going to the local GameStop or BestBuy to the checkout counter the day games come out.

It’s become kinda an annual thing now for me on Tomahawk Take to publish a simulated season from the new MLB The Show game.  I’ve done this the past three years now.  I couldn’t stop now!?!

Lucky for you I didn’t!  This year, I actually stopped at Target, picked up the game, came straight home, turned it on, made sure the Braves rosters were updated and hit simulate season.

Before we get into the records, World Series champs and all that…once I fired up the game, I was already blown away.  Based on the reviews prior to the release date, I knew this game was going to be really good, but never expected this video right when I got going.

Check out this intro video to the game.  Disclaimer: I got goosebumps watching it

Pretty cool and creative video of some of the most iconic moments in baseball history!  Within the last few years, we’ve seen video game productions put a lot of money into trailers, promos and opening videos to excite fans.

This one did just that!

All right, let’s get to why we’re all here…what the simulation told us.
