It’s been a fun week in Braves Country. Folty almost threw a no-no and the Atlanta Braves are quietly creeping up the standings with half the season left. Who knows what will happen? Plus, with rumors and rumors of rumors circulating this time of year, we had to do some trade talk on the podcast this week.

Here’s a breakdown of Atlanta Braves‘ stuff this week in the Nation:

    • Me and Ken yell at each other about potential trades
    • Ken tries to explain to me why I can’t have Ronald Acuna, Matt Kemp, Ender Inciarte and Nick Markakis in the same outfield at the same time
    • We find secret leaked audio of some recent John Coppolella trade talks
    • Josh makes some bold predictions
    • And more!

Also, make sure you check out the boys over at the Talking Chop podcast. If you’re not listening to it, then you’re doing it wrong. Plus, a few of their writers having a separate podcast dedicated solely to the minor leagues called The Road To Atlanta. (If you want to get excited about the Braves’ second-round draft pick Drew Waters, make sure you listen to this week’s RTA.)
