The Atlanta Braves take on the Washington Nationals Sunday afternoon.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:35pm Eastern.  This will be the third game of the 19 games these rivals have against each other in 2014.

Atlanta has taken the first two games, 2-1 on Friday and 6-2 on Saturday, in their nemesis home park and will attempt to complete a three-game sweep.  Alex Wood gets the start for the Braves while Taylor Jordan gets his first start of the season in Sunday afternoon’s series finale at Nationals Park.

The Nationals lineup looks extremely different than their opening day lineup.  Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman are out of the lineup as well as their catcher Wilson Ramos who will miss a lot of time with a hand injury.

Heyward has some neck spasms going on this morning after he tweaked it last night when fouling off a ball.  Simmons and Johnson are both battling a cold and Gattis supposedly has lost seven pounds in the last 24-hours due to a stomach virus he has.

The game will be televised on Fox Sports South or on the radio on WCNN 680/WYAY 106.7, Braves Radio Network, WLBA 1130.
