2016 Atlanta Braves Getting Zero Respect

Current Braves Major Leaguers Being Dissed at Every Turn

I suppose I should say it at the outset:  if you want respect, then you often have to earn it yourself.

This week, while the newly-energized farm system is getting high marks from multiple sources, the major league club is being roundly smacked around like the proverbial rented mule.

From the sound of it, they’d better be happy that the University of Georgia isn’t on the spring schedule this year.

In multiple separate reports over the past couple of weeks, pundits and prognosticators alike have taken pot-shots are our team.  This is just the kind of fodder that football teams would post up on the bulletin board for motivation.  Can’t say if stuff like this gets the juices flowing (the legal kind) in a baseball player’s veins… particularly on February 11th.  But maybe it should.
