2016 Atlanta Braves Spring Training TV Schedule

Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers report on Friday, February 19th and their first Spring Training game is on March 1st.  Yes, we’re almost there.  The cold winter days are almost behind us and the sunny game days are right around the corner.

Years ago, we wouldn’t be talking about watching Spring Training games on TV, but recently broadcast stations have been airing these games…and we can’t thank them enough!

A few more important dates to be aware of heading into 2016

April 4th – Braves vs Nationals.  Atlanta’s home opener starts at 4:10pm ET with possibly Julio Teheran on the mound for the Braves

April 15th – Jackie Robinson Day.  Atlanta and the MLB will once again be wearing the #42 on every jersey on this day

June 9-11th – MLB Draft.  In the first three rounds, the Braves have picks number 3, 40, 44, and 80

July 12th – 87th All-Star Game at Petco Park.  Anyone have any early predictions on who will represent the Braves in 2016?

July 24th – Hall of Fame Induction Day.  First time in a few years the Braves don’t have a player/coach going into the Hall of Fame.  Ken Griffey Jr and Mike Piazza will be inducted.  Maybe in 2018 we’ll have another player go in…cough, cough, Chipper Jones.

Okay, the reason you’re all here…let’s go over the Braves 2016 Spring Training schedule that will be televised.  These are the games that will be on TV if you have the supporting cable channels.  If you have MLBtv, you can watch additional Spring Training games.  All times that are shown are Eastern.
