Atlanta Braves Minor League All Questions Answered

We are going to start a new “tradition” here at Tomahawk Take. It’s one you see around other places on the interwebs, but this will be new to us, so it’s new, gosh darn it!

This will become a monthly series, appearing every month on the final Friday of the month, and the focus will be on answering any question you may have about the minor leagues!

The “Rules”

Rules?! We don’t need no stinking rules!

Well, okay, a couple of suggested guidelines. This will primarily be answered by Benjamin Chase, the minor league coordinator around these parts, however any member of the Tomahawk Take team or any one of you can feel free to add your answer/comment to a question asked. Any question posted to this thread before Sunday at midnight eastern will be answered, so feel free to ask away, even if you don’t catch this on the exact day that it posted to the site! If the number gets to be too heavy, in the future I may set an earlier cut off time, but for right now, we’ll stick to keeping this open to new questions throughout the weekend.

Some Basic Info

The actual designations of where players will begin the year will likely not be decided until the first week of April, so there are many guys who haven’t officially been assigned yet.

So, feel free to ask anything and everything about prospects that you may want to know! All you need to do is post a question in the comments section below, and as I have time, I’ll answer questions I can get to, and any others reading the post can certainly provide their own insight as well!

I’ve had a good chance to see a lot of the Braves guys who have played at Rome or above in 2015, but a guy below that, I’m trusting scouting reports I’ve gotten or other videos I’ve seen.

Also, so you have a heads up, this isn’t exactly minor league info, but we will have a look at the draft possibilities next week in depth as well, as well as 5 scouting reports to close out the last full week of spring training, including 4 relievers that may not be on the major publications’ top prospect lists, so be looking for that!
