Atlanta Braves Minor League All Questions Answered, September Edition

The minor league season ended with three Atlanta Braves affiliates in their respective championship series. Low-A Rome took home the South Atlantic League championship behind a dominant pitching staff, and AA Mississippi and AAA Gwinnett fell short in their pursuits of the title. Now we’re onto fall instructs, and if you’re not on Twitter to see the videos of Kevin Maitan and other hopeful superstars of the Braves future, I’d suggest getting on! Arizona Fall League begins in October and winter league begins in November.

For our coverage here at Tomahawk Take, we will have continued scouting reports as you’ve been seeing each week since the end of the season, a top 100 prospects to come out in October, reports on any new prospects acquired in the offseason, and hopefully some big discussions coming with players in the Braves minor league system as we get near the 2017 season!

A quick thing on this month’s AQA – I am out of town at the time this is posted, driving back from a week in St. Louis and Kansas City, so I may not respond until late Friday, but feel free to have conversation among one another. On top of that, I will keep this post open throughout the weekend, so keep on posting as we end the regular season for the major league club, and I’ll be glad to answer your questions about any of the young players in the organization!

The “Rules”

Rules?! We don’t need no stinking rules!

Well, okay, a couple of suggested guidelines. This will primarily be answered by Benjamin Chase, the minor league coordinator around these parts, however any member of the Tomahawk Take team or any one of you can feel free to add your answer/comment to a question asked. Any question posted to this thread before Sunday at midnight eastern will be answered, so feel free to ask away, even if you don’t catch this on the exact day that it posted to the site! If the number gets to be too heavy, in the future I may set an earlier cut off time, but for right now, we’ll stick to keeping this open to new questions throughout the weekend.

Next: Braves Minor League Database

That link above is to the database of all Braves minor leaguers that I put together in early May. I’ve been updating that as I’ve been able, but it needs a massive overhaul at the moment, but it’s still the one stop shop to find all the scouting reports that have been done!
