This week on Knockahoma Nation we attempt to be trade experts. Spoiler alert – We are not trade experts. We seldom know what we are talking about. We made this very clear up front, so you cannot be mad at us.

Tomahawk Take writer Dan Horton sits in for me this week on the “Hot Take Corner.” Dan is great and is a voice of reason. One of the things he talks about this week is how Atlanta Braves fans should reserve judgement on young pitchers like Sean Newcomb and Luiz Gohara until they have a full year under their belts. I agree.

Before Dan hops on the line, me and Ken talk about possible trade scenarios:  is Ender Inciarte the future center fielder with Ronald Acuña coming up? In our opinionated opinions, while we love Ender and believe him to be a top tier CFer, we believe Acuña will be the future center fielder for the Atlanta Braves after 2018.

Remember, Andruw Jones started off slow in right field prior to his historic reign in center field.

Will Ronald Acuna be the next Andruw Jones?  Well, no. But comparing is fun. Especially when the two you’re comparing came from the same org, have the same swing, win the same MiLB awards, are the same age thru their minor league journey, and have the same skill set.

Does this mean Ender is eventually traded? Possibly. I think he’s more of a building block than a trade piece, though. Tell us you what you think.
